Laboratories

Arnav Paramedical Institute has spacious laboratories with sophisticated equipment for the practical training of nursing students.

All these labs are equipped with sufficient instruments and mannequins as per the guidelines and norms.

Nursing Foundation Lab

  • Our Nursing foundation lab is a simulated hospital environment situated at ground floor with a measurement of 2048 Sq.ft.
  • This lab allows our students to practice and learn a wide range of nursing foundation nursing skills in a safe environment under the supervision of clinical instructors/nursing tutors.
  • This aids the student nurse to reduce the fear and enhance the confidence in real life clinical set up.
  • This lab is equipped with patient cot, mattress, bedside lockers, bed linens, all the necessary instruments needed for practicing as per norms.

Advanced Nursing Practice Lab

  • Advanced Nursing Practice Lab in Arnav Paramedical Institute covers an area of 1216 Sq.ft with variety of equipment such as IV arm, advanced practice mannikins.

OBG Lab

  • OBG Lab in our institution is measuring 1216 Sq. ft and provides a preliminary effective experience in perinatal care.
  • This lab is equipped with birthing simulators, Obstetric manikins, Pelvis, Fetal skull, obstetrical instruments, 3D models and charts.
  • It is equipped with the delivery kit, instruments used in obstetrical and gynecological practices.

Paediatric/Child Health Nursing Lab

  • This lab occupies 1216 Sq.ft and adequately equipped with paediatric and CPR mannikins, physical assessment articles, play items models, and charts for learning and conducting procedures.

Nutrition Lab

  • Knowledge of nutrition is very important in maintaining optimum health of patients and community people.
  • This lab is equipped with modern amenities and utensils useful in practicing the cookery rules and methods of cooking.

Pre-clinical science Lab

  • Better understanding of anatomy and physiology is important for nursing students to enable this we designed a Preclinical science lab that covers an area of 1200 Sq.ft.
  • This lab contains various anatomical models, articulated & disarticulated skeleton, human torso, charts of various body systems etc.
  • In addition to this it also having various items related to the other pre-clinical subjects like biochemistry & microbiology.

Community Health Nursing Lab

  • This lab covers an area of 1216 Sq.ft. and contains the equipment for providing the basic care in community set up such as community bag, delivery kit, health education modules etc.
  • It also has a miniature rural setting, models and charts.
  • This lab allows the students to practice home visiting; bag technique & other nursing procedures related to community health services.

Computer Lab

  • Our institute offers a well-equipped computer lab for the learning experience of the students.
  • This lab allows our students to use computer systems at a ratio of 1:2 and supported with high bandwidth internet speed with uninterrupted power supply.
  • The college campus is Wi-Fi Enabled.

A.V. aids

  • We have an Audio-Visual room with computers, LCD projectors, television, graphic charts and various other audio-visual materials.
